I recently installed a Ubuntu 22.03 LTS and fired up a Cisco Genie \/ pyATS Installation. But unfortunately I could not connect to devices… :-( <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After some research it seems that with Ubuntu 22.04 some of the Key-Exchange Algorithms and some of the accepted Host-Key-Algorithms were not in use anymore by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So one has to add the following statements into \/etc\/ssh\/ssh_config : <\/p>\n\n\n\n
HostKeyAlgorithms +ssh-rsa\nPubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms +ssh-rsa\nKexAlgorithms +diffie-hellman-group14-sha1\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\nWith the entries above added the connections with genie \/ pyATS should work again on Ubuntu 22.04.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
