Yesterday I wanted to try the „user roles“ in Zabbix for a better permissions management to access the API. Unfortunately I found this is was a feature released with version 6.0 :-(.
Luckily there is a great walk-through article available at bestmonitoringtools.com which i walked-through yesterday to bring my Zabbix 5.0 to a 6.0 code release.
It worked like a charme – a big „thank you“ to the author for writing such a comprehensive and easy to follow instructions set.
